Rare antique Old Hall Earthenware Co. Excelsior series plate, circa 1880, Staffordshire, England — attributed to Christopher Dresser, a leading figure of the Aesthetic Movement. Multicolored transferware featuring a countryside winter scene with houses, a barn, trees, and figures in the snow. One plate with a minor chip, including a factory one under the glaze. Diameter 27.5 cm. Made in England.
